where are good places to get the synthetic hair for tassels used on the corset belts?

Mon, January 14, 2008 - 3:16 PMSometimes Sally's Beauty Supply carries cool colors, but you'll at least find the basics...but your best bet are independent wig shops, usually in metro areas. Or you can order online via Doctored Locks :) -

I made a 5 panel and thinking I could do one on each or one on each of the smaller back one and two on the up front panels or last make six tassels in all with 4 of them in a longer garter style things so it evans out to to short then long one. in a pattern kinda thing. decisions decisions . -

Fri, February 15, 2008 - 8:44 PMcut your ribbon/gartering longer (or use something cheaper as a substitute), and pin them all in place, that way you can see how they will move.

Mon, February 25, 2008 - 8:47 PMwell I posted pics of the belt with just one per panel. their long and I don't know if I'll keep them that long but they do kinda have a neat swinging thing going. I gotta finnish my skirt and see how it goes as well as putting longer ribbon in the corseting part. -
