Alright, I'm at my wit's end here trying to find some decent, everyday boots with a goth flair. All I can seem to find are ridiculous Transformer-Goth boots with 12 inch platforms or 8 inch spikes embedded into the soles... UGH. I need something I can wear to work, and around town. Nothing for the club, I already have those. Anyone have any advice as to where to begin my search? Google is NOT helping me. I know its not belly dance related, and I really tried to tie it in somehow, but well...it just isn't. LOL

For years, I got great boots at Sears of all places...by Bongo. So if you can brave the mall, check out Sears or JCP...they sometimes have suprisingly cool shoes. -

Mon, January 28, 2008 - 2:43 PMI tell ya, the weirdest stuff shows up at the most mundane of places...it's like there's a corporate goth working behind the scenes giggling madly when it's time to order. I found the most fabulous elegant gothic lolita coat at Macy's. It was the only one there. You just never know ;) And I probably would never go anywhere near a mall if it wasn't for my family getting me gift cards ;) -

I had the transmuters (which demonia transformers are based on) for like, 8 years and wore them all the fucking time and they died. They were also like 20 years old when i got them.
Demonias... i got a pair and they fell apart after like wearing them 5 times. If you get demonias, get some good hobby store glue so you can be sure to glue your soles back on with :( -

I had this happen to my pair of red furry boots. . . .and I was at Burning Man. . . glue was the ONE thing I did not have on hand to repair them. . . .
